There’s something about the Caribbean that feels like an exhale—
an invitation to slow down, soak up the sun, and let the rhythm of the waves set the pace.
This spring, we traded cooler days for Aruba’s beaches, turquoise waters, and breezy blue skies. Affectionately known as "One Happy Island," Aruba’s vibrant scene and relaxed energy created the perfect escape, allowing us to unwind and embrace the laid-back island vibe.

Here’s a roundup of recommendations from our relaxed week of poolside lounging to beachside adventures.
Stay
For this trip, we had the wonderful opportunity to stay at a relative’s home, which gave us the flexibility to enjoy slow mornings, home-cooked breakfasts, and plenty of space to unwind as a family.
While we didn’t stay at a hotel,
we did take the time to visit a few and found some great options worth recommending.

When shopping in Aruba, there’s something for everyone.
